Bringing Singapore Maths Approach to the classroom

At Cariad International School, we are committed to continually improving our teaching methods to provide the best possible education for our students. As part of this commitment, we recently attended a workshop on the Singapore Maths curriculum, led by Dr Eric Chan, author of the widely used Singapore Maths textbooks.

Singapore Maths is an increasingly popular approach worldwide, focusing on developing students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills from an early age. The methodology encourages deep understanding through structured progression, visual models, and real-world application.

We were delighted to take part in this workshop, gaining valuable insights into how we can effectively implement these strategies within our classrooms to further enhance student learning and outcomes.
