We are delighted to congratulate Dennis on receiving an offer to join the prestigious Lucus Luminum Programme at Oxford University this summer, hosted by the John Locke Institute！

This prestigious programme is open to high achieving students who have distinguished themselves in the John Locke Essay Competition, with shortlisted candidates invited to interview. The selection process carries a strong academic focus, with interview discussions centered around themes in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, assessing students’ critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and ability to articulate complex ideas.

During the interview, Dennis engaged actively and thoughtfully with the interviewer, demonstrating both intellectual curiosity and strong reasoning skills. Remarkably, he received his offer within just three days after the interview, reflecting the programme’s high recognition of his academic potential.

The programme is designed for students aged 15–19; notably, Dennis will only turn 15 next month, making this achievement particularly impressive.
